Live with Natural Breakdown

Natural Breakdown is a four piece band, for peace, Consciousness Raising Rock ‘n Roll  band that hails from Central New Jersey.  The four members came together with the intention of creating a community of peace loving souls, that thrive on spiritual musical experiences.  

Natural Breakdown is all about vibe.  The music is energetic, inspiring and filled, with positive lyrics and melodies.  The shows are interactive and frequently include live painters, fire-spinners (outdoors only), dancers, poetry, group meditations and lots of audience participation.  Through the bands singing, lyrics and musicianship, the overwhelmingly positive energy that is projected, and the warmth of the community; people come away from shows with a healing, spiritual energy.

In addition to the growing catalog of over 70 original songs, Natural Breakdown  mixes in instrumentals, select covers, and plays in many styles. The music ranges anywhere from 60’s style R&B, gospel, bluegrass, and old-soul, to straight up rock and get down funk. Add in to the mix; heavy influences of Latin Jazz, Afro-Cuban, world beat and North Indian Tabla rhythms, with improvisational winding jams, that launch people into intense peaks, and you get a sound that is unlike any other band.

2008-2009 saw a huge jump in the Natural Breakdown world.  With the recording and release of their second album, Natty B toured throughout the east and even took three trips out West, breaking into the Colorado and California Jam scenes, playing the legendary Fox Theater twice, the Aggie Theater, and the Earthdance Festival.  They headlined the prestigious BB KINGS blues club in Times Square, made inroads in Missouri, Ohio, West Virginia, and Maryland in places like Camp Zoe, Wisteria, Nelson Ledges, and Sunshine Daydream.
